I have been a
lower ab workout fanatic all my life, doing the best I can
to keep my stomach in shape. I don't go to a gym, and prefer to workout
at home. My body responds well to exercise, with the
exception of my stomach. No matter how many ab targeted exercises I did,
I just could not get a flat stomach.
You see, I
was always under the impression that a lower ab workout (targeting the
abs) was the best way to get a flat stomach. I mostly relied on
sit-up's, and every now and then I would try a new abdominal machine
advertised on television. Nothing like a new gadget to give you the

to be boring food ! Look at these examples below...
Geary's Lean-Body Potato Side Dis h

Desired quantity of baby potatoes
-
1 red pepper
-
1 green pepper
-
1 yellow pepper

1 or 2 onions

a few cloves of garlic, finely chopped
-
1 or 2 Table spoons of extra virgin olive oil
-
a little salt and pepper to taste (using a sea
salt instead of normal commercial salt)
Cut the baby
potatoes into slightly smaller pieces and place in a steamer
until soft all the way through. Slice up the peppers and onions
into strips and add with the chopped garlic into a pan with the
olive oil. Cook the peppers, onions, and garlic until tender,
and then add the steamed baby potatoes. Stir it all together and
serve. This is a delicious and healthy side dish that goes great
with chicken or red meat.
A
very delicious, quick snack to satisfy your appetite:
· 1 egg
· 1 apple
· 1 handful of chopped pecans
· a small handful of organic raisins
· a generous sprinkle of cinnamon
· 1 tbsp of virgin coconut oil (healthy fat source)
Heat about 1
table spoon of virgin coconut oil in a
small frying
pan. Then
throw some
apple cubes into the coconut oil. Next, add some cinnamon and
throw in a handful of chopped pecans and some organic raisins.
Shake or stir the mixture around in the pan for about a minute
for it to soften up. For a little extra protein and healthy
fats, you can add an egg and scramble it into the mixture. Takes
about 2 to 3 minutes to make and is super healthy for you.
A good tip...
Eat a
handful of raw nuts (pecans, walnuts, almonds are very healthy
choices) 3 times a day about half an hour before meals. This
will help to suppress your appetite and provide your body some
protein, fiber, and healthy fats so that you eat less calories
overall at your meals. At the same time you receive more
nutrition due to the high nutrient concentration in the majority
of nuts. Please note that peanuts do not fall under this
category.

It is often
falsely believed that Wheat products are
healthy. This includes the majority of breads, cereals, bagels,
muffins, pasta, crackers, etc.
What most people don't realize is
that the majority of the population was never meant to eat large
quantities of wheat.
The human
digestive system has never adapted to large amounts of wheat in
the diet. You can test this by eliminating wheat from your diet
for about 2 to 3 weeks. You will start to lose weight and feel
better. Headaches, indigestion and skin problems can also
disappear.
Never mind Sodas, Fruit Juice is one of the worst
fattening foods ! The majority of fruit juices are healthy, but
when you separate the sugar rich juice from the fruit (high in
calories),
the fiber and other good ingredients of the fruit get left
behind. By just drinking the juice, your appetite does not get
satisfied, because of the lack of the fruit fiber. Now you
are left
craving more for more carbs.
So watch out and
do not drink too much fruit juice - it can make you fat !
